What is the Planned Dispatch Time and how to use it

You must be logged in as an Operator Dashboard user to view the Planned Dispatch Time of the order.  The Planned Dispatch Time can be provided by the user of the Assembly Dashboard only.

The idea of the Planned Dispatch Time is to provide the Operator with an approximate time when the kitchen can get the order ready for dispatch. The kitchen provides the Planned Dispatch Time in the Assembly Dashboard, and the Operator can view it both in the orders card view and in the order editor.

Based on the Planned Dispatch Time and the current courier’s workload, the Operator can confirm the approximate Delivery Time with the customer and, based on this, provide the kitchen with the Confirmed Dispatch Time.
