How to assign a dish type to a user

You must be logged into the Admin Panel to add a dish type to a user and the user must have the Kitchen Dashboard assigned. 

Select Users on the left and click on any user that has the Kitchen Dashboard assigned. Navigate to the Dish Types and tick the checkbox of the dish type you would like the user to be able to prepare.
