Earlier, we explained how you can take orders from the Delivety food ordering website by using your own website or domain name. However, if you do not have a website or domain name registered yet, we have a solution. We will give you a domain name that will look like your-delivery-name.delivety.com, where your-delivery-name is your brand name, trademark, or business name.
STEP 1. MAKE SURE YOUR MENU IS UP TO DATE
To get started, go to your Delivety domain name followed by "/app" in your web browser (for instance, your-domain.delivety.com/app where you have to replace your-domain with your Delivety domain name). This will take you to the Delivety App. Next, select the user who has access to the Menu Builder Dashboard and enter their login details. Once you're in, review all the dishes and ensure that they have the right names, prices, and photos. Additionally, check that the section names are accurate and have the right photos because these details will be visible on your website. If needed, you can rearrange the order of the sections and dishes in the way that you prefer for your website.
STEP 2. CHANGE YOUR DOMAIN SETTINGS IN THE DELIVETY ADMIN PANEL
To set up your domain on the Delivety food ordering website, start by logging into your Admin Panel. From there, click on "Domains" in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen, and choose the specific domain you want to use for the Delivety platform. Once you have selected your domain, change the way you receive orders by selecting "Create an integrated food ordering website your-domain.delivety.com on the Delivety platform." Finally, save your settings by clicking on the "Save Settings" button.
STEP 3. EDIT YOUR WEBSITE SETTINGS
To adjust the settings for your website, go to the Website Management panel, which can be found on the left-hand side of the screen. Here, you can change various aspects of your website such as your logo, title, description, color scheme, typography, contact information, delivery hours, and minimum order information. If you prefer, you can make these changes at a later time
STEP 4. CHECK YOUR WEBSITE
To test your website's functionality, go to your new ordering website (e.g., your-domain.delivety.com) and place some test orders.
You will be able to view these orders immediately on your Operator Dashboard:
Once you have confirmed that everything is working as expected, share the name of your ordering website with your customers. You can add it to your Google My Business page and your social media accounts so that customers can easily find and place their orders.
