You can dispatch orders once they are assembled, and the order receipts are printed. To accept orders, you have to be logged into the Delivety App as a user who has been assigned the Operator Dashboard. Log into the Delivety App using the URL your-domain.delivety.com/app (replace your-domain with your Delivety domain name).
STEP 1. DISPATCHING THE ORDERS
Once the order is dispatched, the Operator has to tap the Dispatched switch to tell the system that the order has been dispatched. The dispatch time will be also recorded for further reports and analytics. (Important: the dishes in the order must be prepared and assembled before dispatch!)
STEP 2. DELIVERING THE ORDERS
Once the order is delivered, you have to tap the Delivered switch to tell the system that the order is delivered and can be closed now. The delivery time will be also recorded for further reports and analytics.
STEP 3. CLOSING THE ORDERS
Tap the Paid switch once the order is paid. So that you know, the Paid switch might be already switched on if the order has been paid by card via your ordering website.
You can go ahead and finalize the order by tapping the Finalized switch. No changes can be made to the order after that point.
You can automate the finalization of orders by choosing the appropriate automation option in the Admin Panel.
The orders will be finalized automatically once they are delivered and paid.
You can cancel any order at any stage (but before it’s Paid or Delivered) by tapping the Canceled switch.
When canceling the order, it's also a good practice to leave a note describing the reason.
