User Interface Overview
The Recipe Editor consists of two interface elements: Items List on the left and Recipe on the right.
The Items List displays the dishes and modifiers that are available, presented as cards. Each card shows the name of the item and the number of reports indicating inaccuracies in the image, recipe, or ingredients. The corresponding button color represents these reports. You can also sort the list based on the report numbers, which allows the chef to quickly locate dishes with issues and address them promptly.
You can utilize the search bar to quickly locate a specific dish. Simply enter the name or relevant keywords, and the search function will help you find the dish you're looking for in no time.
Additionally, you have the option to filter your items based on domain and type, allowing you to narrow down the displayed items according to your preferences. Furthermore, you can modify the display order of the items as per your requirement.
Once you tap a dish or a modifier, its Recipe opens in the right pane.
The Recipe contains the following elements:
The Item Image, which represents the visual depiction of an item, can be modified exclusively within the Menu Builder. It's important to note that the ability to make changes to the Item Image is restricted to the Menu Builder tool.
In the Ingredients list, you can easily add the ingredients for a dish by clicking on the Add+ button. There are two ways to add an ingredient: either by typing in a new ingredient name or by selecting it from the drop-down list of previously entered ingredients.
For each ingredient, you have the option to specify both the Net weight and Gross weight. If needed, you can delete an ingredient by clicking on the red bin icon.
While the inclusion of Ingredients is optional, it's important to note that the sum of their Net weights forms the overall Weight of the item.
In the Accessories list, you can add and edit the accessories for an item in a similar manner as with Ingredients. You can access this list and make changes by following the same steps as with Ingredients.
By clicking on the pen icon, you can edit an accessory by either typing in a new name or selecting it from a drop-down list of previously entered accessories. Similar to Ingredients, you can specify the amounts. Additionally, you have the option to delete an accessory by clicking on the red bin icon.
Please note that the inclusion of Accessories is optional, and they serve as additional components or accompaniments to the item.

Just right to the Item Image, you will come across the Item Name, which can be modified exclusively within the Menu Builder.
Next to the Item Name, you will find the Item Weight, which is automatically calculated based on the Net amounts of the dish ingredients. This provides an accurate measurement of the overall weight of the dish.
Below the Item Weight, there is the Packaging selector. Here, you can choose the main packing or container for the dish from the list of accessories associated with the dish. This selection helps the cooks by indicating the specific accessory they should use to pack the item accordingly.
Below the Packaging selector, you will come across the Dish Type selector. This feature allows you to choose the specific type of dish, which helps the system determine the appropriate Kitchen Dashboard to direct the dish to when it is ordered. By selecting the relevant Dish Type, the system ensures that the dish is routed to the designated cook or cooks responsible for preparing that particular type of dish.
Furthermore, in the Admin Panel, you have the ability to add additional Dish Types and assign them to specific cooks. This way, you can customize the system's workflow and ensure that each dish is directed to the appropriate cook's Kitchen Dashboard based on its assigned Dish Type.
